What I want at Conventions...
What I really want at conventions is more networking opportunities.
For me, the best events at conventions is almost always the first event of the show, such as the GFY warm-up parties. At Internext Miami for example, everyone arrives, wide awake despite any long flights, to a room full of people but without the loud music. Not a bad, but... The "Speed Networking" idea that someone has for Internext Vegas sounds like a pretty good idea, but I'm not there this year so I can't say if it works or not. Anyone have feedback on these? Hopefully, convention organizers can come up with as many networking ideas as party ideas. m

Speed networking is great!!!
my partner used to do those for finance/pre-ipo/ venture capital and got a lot of biz from it. they should have an organized one at internext

Would be interesting to have something where you have 100 people enter a room and everyone has to talk to everyone about what they do... And I can see a lot of things coming out of it.
Cease and desist orders... Copywrite infringement... Patent infringement... Business plan duplication... |
