Congrats to ron paul supporters
Your man outlasted Fred and Rudy.
Now when's Paul gonna withdraw? He senile or something? Maybe he's thinking about whether to run independent. Why stick around to finish in last place on Feb 5?

The path to the convention is twisty. For instance Iowa, no delegates were awarded at the caucus. That's because voters didn't directly choose national convention delegates; they selected the county and state delegates who will make that decision. And if another candidate like Huckabee is no longer in the race at the time of the state convention in June, his delegates are free to support whomever they want. How about the poll vote in Nevada? What the media didn't tell you was that Nevada chooses more delegates to the national convention than South Carolina. And guess who did well there in Nevada? It was a laugh when they said Nevada didn't matter. Yeah ok, righttttt... Ron Paul doesn't have a shot. lolololol |

There was one Political Analyst that was on CNN the last night (Black Guy) who brought up Ron Paul saying he's still in it and mentioned how the media avoids this guy in a way he's never seen before.

The original argument Paul supporters used to say they had a shot was that potential Paul votes were being severely undercounted because they were polling those who voted republican in the last election. We've seen now this just isn't true to any reasonable extent. Paul has the support of about 5% of the country and that is it.

To extreme for most folks over the age of 40. Plus his appearance does not sit well with most folks. Most people judge from the get go by the looks when they first meet someone...

I agree he may be extreme for the silly old folks, but Mccain has some major hygiene problems and looks old as dirt, but he is till going to win. It all comes down to who the media is feeding the masses as the winner. The adult industry is going to be whining like babies in a couple of years if not sooner.

There are only 5 candidates stop making dumb ass statements. he had higher poll ratings that Thompson, yet Thompson got all kinds of air time. Your statement has no merit.

Ron Paul has placed 2nd in two states, and polls higher in the west, where they have yet to vote... and he has more money than the other Republicans. Why would he drop out now?

Thompson has media connections and knows how to play them. Paul does not simple as that. Yes the media at time can be a bit biased but it is up to Paul to rattle his tin cup against the bars and not just his supporters who often come off as some strange cult followers which is just down right creepy.
Another issue I do not think he has even considered besides hiring a better PR team, is that Americans hate several things politics aside. They hate tow truck drivers, Doctors, and Lawyers. Ron Paul is at least two of those and he insists on being called Dr. Ron Paul. In case you have not noticed I believe Huckabee has been feeling some of the same backlash because he is also a pastor or some religious shit and people are not comfortable with that crap that at least he does have the majority of the bible thumpers behind him. Lastly please stop saying that those with a higher IQ support him. Typically IQ has very little to do with to many factors to even make it a valid insult and to top it off, insulting anyone and everyone by saying whomever does not support him is less intellegent. Maybe some of us like his ideas but feel he is overselling the farm even for a politician. Maybe some of us feel his powers could be better used elsewhere. Maybe some of us feel he should be bringing up more of these arguements in debates and the news challenging candidates to respond and when they dont calling them out again in the media for being pussies. Lastly many of us are concerned with his age, honestly he seems to have a foot and a half in the grave already. Then his usage of gothic style lettering does not help the fact much when the first thing that comes to my mind is ok who will his VP be cause this dude is going to die in the first 2 years of office.

You are not the sharpest knife in the drawer...now are you. They are around fifteen or twenty candidates from multiple minor parties...all of which I have seen debate on C-Span. They do not get air time by the main stream media.

He's a loose cannon.. I dub him "most likely to have a Howard Dean moment" lol. And of all the republicans with a shot, I like him the most. He should have beaten Bush in the first place, that was his time. Ron Paul has been impressive everytime he opens his mouth I think. Problem is media bias. Media LOVES to decide for everyone who and what we're supposed to like.

No he does not have more money than all of the other Republicans. Romney has a personal fortune of several hundred million.

I agree with you about the IQ comment. But if you don't follow politics on a daily bases like most folks he does come off as a nutjob cause they have no clue what the hell he is talking about. People are to wrapped up in there everyday lives with work and family which by all means is understandable. .Those same family's when they go to the polls will vote based on what they seen on there 6 o clock news or what ever they watch for the political coverage. As for the debates well we all seen how those have gone. The candidates who are drawing the most media attention are getting the majority of the questions. As for the age issue i believe Paul is only a year older then Mccain. I haven't seen any health problems reported on Paul but i have seen issues on Mccain brought up . Regan was 16 days days away from 70 when he became president.

Who really thinks Mike Gravel, Jim Gilmore, Tommy Thompson, Sam Brownback and Tom Tancredo deserved as much media attention as Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney or John McCain?

So the day after Obama beat Clinton in Iowa the "media" should have been careful to make sure they were still giving Kucinich equal air time with Clinton and Obama? Oh, come on. The news is about STORIES. After Iowa, Clinton and Obama were stories. Kucinich wasn't.

And this should be for all media sources? So for example, "Air America" should give equal time to all the Republican candidates?
