I see this on 90% of the galleries out there. And i also do it because i'm lazy.

Almost every gallery with 16 pics have the pictures named 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg or 01.jpg 02.jpg etc.

If someone visits your gallery but doesnt buy a membership right away you still want him to remember your site right. So if he likes your shit he will save the pics on his hd with your url on them.

Now most gallery surfers already have many pics saved on their harddrive and 99% sure they already have 1.jpg 2.jpg on their drive. Many surfers when the right click save and get the message "do you want to overwrite 1.jpg" know how to simply change the filename but there is a small % who doesnt do this or doesnt know how to do this and simply wont safe your pic because they dont want to overwrite their existing files. Thats a potential buyer you just lost.

It may be a small % but if you have tons of gallery surfers a day that could mean quite some lost joins over a longer period of time.

Huh? Yeah ofcourse, and they will still do it in 2015.

Now with all the movies many people think pics is 2001 but it isnt. Many people still prefer tgps instead of mgps. And dont forget that there are still many people on slow connections in other countries who simply surf pics and visit pic sites.
