Yes.. yes they are... They have a shit load of content on there that they have to take down every day due to copyright infringement... Even user created content which uses copyrighted content that the user never had the rights to use and thus never had the rights to submit to youtube... Go ahead and create yourself a video.. string together a bunch of copyrighted images to a copyrighted song... Make sure you put the name of the artist and song in the title and post it.. To really see this in effect, make sure it's for a company that's extremely active at monitoring youtube for their material.. You'll see that video gone in no time at all... Why? because it was illegal for youtube to have it on the site.

But youtube has a shit load of true user created content on there... They are no different than the rest of these tube sites out there now.. All the illegal stuff is what helped make them as huge as they are... Now they have the user created content to sustain them... Seems to me that's what some of the porn tube sites are saying they're going to do...
