I have a bad habit of joking about the war in Iraq. But I came to a point where I was so pissed off about it, that it was draining me. For the last couple years, I've tried to act like it's just some television show and that thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis haven't perished for no reason. Because that wouldn't make sense.

We invaded for the same reasons that any country invades another and that is because it was "perceived"...by the leaders (plural) of our country...to be in the nations best interests to do so. So was it in the best interests of the nation to do so? Only the future...time...and history will dictate the answer to that question.

I dont think the future will be any better for the USA, UK or the other coalition countrys that helped invade Iraq. There is such a hatred now more than ever against these countrys and most of the anger will most prob be aimed at the US in the future

Actually soldiers that die from wounds that received in Iraq get counted to the death toll even if it's months later and they are in the US.
