Domain buyers - lowballing sucks at Sedo

So I have listed alot of our domains for sale at Sedo, and have not gotten around to set a price for each of them, so I did expect lowballing offers to arrive, however not the absolut fucking minimum price lowballing that do not respond to counter offers. Minimum offer at Sedo is $60 where Sedo takes $50 in minimum fees, and that leaves the domain seller with $10

Who the fuck would sell their domain at Sedo for that price? Sure if its a total crappy domain or the domain seller is on crack, then sure someone might, but I´m guessing 99.8% of domain sellers just laugh at the price.

a lot of people bid low, just as a starting point, and expect you to make a counter offer, i know i do.

More importantly - if its a good domain and you know people would pay more for it - all it takes is a $60 offer to start an auction at Sedo so instead of replying with your desired price - just start an auction (of course if no one wants it or you dont bother to advertise the auction at the domain sites you will be bound to sell it for the low price at the end of the auction)

I agree that its part of the sale to start low, however the offers I was referring to are the ones, which do not respond to counter offers. Sure my counter offer is usual alot higher, than what most domain parking guys want to spend on a domain, which they do not intent to develop, but then at least repond back with another lowballing offer, so it can either go to auction or the seller can have a 2nd time to accept the lowballing offer

I'm bidding on one now that started at over $1200. I offered $60 and am now at $100 the seller is at around $500 within less than a month.
