... seriously. I might be a bit late but what's the point. I read their site, read their wiki entry but i still don't get it.
someone wants to give me an idea on why I should put feedburner on my site?

To my understanding, it takes various RSS feeds (from various sites you pick, on the same topic(s) I presume), combines them into a single one which you put on your site.

Now I am totally confused... i though the idea was for site operators to have some sort of benefit from people subscribing to your feed using FB???

I use feedburner... You take your wordpress feed (or any feed) and plug it in to the system Then instead of offering your normal feed on your site, you offer your feedburner feed link instead.

Feedburner will tell you how many subscribers, per day/month, link clicks, off clicks, ect.. A great tool to see how many people you have reading your blog.

This plugin will focus your wp feeds all into feedburner, so you can get some real stats.
