just wonder why so big processor like ccbill with an affiliate program doesn't make the epass payments still?

i am sure it is not a problem for ccbill to create that option also,
it would save much time and money of people who work with ccbill sites and make more popularity to ccbill services

paychecks are very slow, wire transfers take much money by fees (especially when sending them here and there to pay affiliates then)

actually epass is an industry standard already and everyone is using it... so why not to do a favour to ccbill webmasters and affiliates and make their life little easier?

would be nice to hear the opinion of ccbill and webmasters who work with it

epass charges for every fucking thing and seems to constantly raise rates. I avoid them at all cost and have passed on deals with people when they said they would only accept epass.

The real question is why is there no direct deposit - answer: ccbill would lose truckloads of money from un-cashed checks.

This has been asked a million times over the years, including threads where CCB people are posting. There has never been an answer to why ACH is not offered. But the reasons are pretty clear...

uncashed checks.
additional wire fees.
= profit

As for epass,... with all the threads on this board alone with complaints about epass, their customer service, etc. Why would ANY company really wanna get tangled up in that mess. Which doesn't even get into the homeland security, and epass/gambling red flags.

Eliminating, or not having, epass as an option is simple, common, business sense.

I think it would be good if webmaster could choose if they wanted to get paid in epass or not.

Also years ago in the ccbill control panel you could look to see if your cheques had been cashed out. This made it easy to see if you had missed a cheque in the post. I can't find this in the ccbill control panel any longer... why is that?

I don't care about ePass, but ACH payments would be nice. Direct deposit and not having to pay for wire transfer fees gets from me.

What happens when epass suddenly goes out of biz one day? Are ccbill expected to (a) accept the loss of the funds they've already sent to epass and (b) still be expected to pay out clients/affiliates in full via other means?

epassporte is not a long established bank with federal protection... they're just a third party company that you have to trust... obviously ccbill does not want to accept that risk, and I applaud them for that.

That's definitely a feature I'd like to see, in fact I'd go further and suggest that their system proactively emails you if a cheque has gone uncashed for X weeks. I guess it was removed for a reason though.

i am in the part which needs to send out money to the bank then back to epass to pay affiliates... and epass fees are almost nothing comparing to HOW MUCH THE FUCKING BANKS CHARGE! i'd better pay to ccbill for epass payment like for their wire transfer cost...
the same my affiliate webmasters say...

for example segpay has an epass tool so very possible we will move there soon...
i think ccbill will lose many clients who will go to segpay once it makes an affiliate sales tracking solution...

the more payment solutions billing has - the more attractive it is for webmasters...

and paychecks are the past time, imho

That's a fucking joke. Everyone with any sense, including CCB, knows the truth of the matter.

They add epass, and when they (epass) fuck up again, lock accounts, freeze payments.. as many threads on the board show.... who is going to get flooded with calls? CCB. Who will need to hire more people? CCB. Who suffers? Webmasters intelligent enough to NOT use epass, and pay their taxes.

Simple business decision toots.

Epass is a pain in the A.... Their fees are very high ... try to withdraw a couple of thousand Dollars with their ATM card in a foreign country and you will see that they charge an arm and a leg. It's much cheaper to cash CCBill checks into an checking account and using your check card for withdrawals.

Oh .... I had contact with Epass' customer service twice. It took weeks to get a reply .... and now they have those funny new requirement for account verifications ... LOL ... no bank will ask you for as many documents as Epass .... W

You can save on CCBIll expenses by raising your payout limit from 25$ to a higher amount.

ccbill still has to assume a fair amount of risk because they'd need to regularly wire funds to epass to cover the payouts. There's also the risk to their reputation if epass holds up the wire (for whatever reason) and therefore causes payouts to be late, which has happened to at least a few sponsors.

It would be convenient for webmasters, but probably not in ccbill's best long term interests.

Experience teaches me different. Last week I flew to Germany and the 300 Euro I withdrew with a BoA card were costing me around 6 USD less than the same amount with Epass .... Multiply that with a 100 withdrawals a year and you save 600 bucks per year by not using Epass ...
