My designer is sleeping now and i want to see this page look prettier so it inspires me to do more with it.

I like rounded corners, some 3D shading. use colors that are warm/friendly, etc or can be high tech,etc.

Every person that submits a decent looking design wins! You will get 5 free domain background check reports. You can use them for yourself, or hand out to anyone (I'll send you 5 'coupon codes' ). The site is not live yet, i have some more backend coding to do, but it will be a nifty service.

The service is geared towards people who want to buy a domain, preferably an expired domain, because expired domains can have existing linking relationships, that help get you on the fast track to getting a better PR.

There will be a quick lookup tool, that you can enter a domain that you are thinking of registering, and it will show you historically how many websites linked to it. From there, you "buy" the report, and then web spiders go off to verify all the links to report back what is actually live right now and do all the other analytic processing.

The reason I am opening it up this way rather than waiting for my designer, is that as a designer, you have clients that need your work for a website. They may be looking for a domain name. By picking up an expired domain that has existing linking relationships and putting up relevant content, the expired domain could have a better page rank, once it has been indexed. This is not about SEO trickery, this is about creating a real website that starts off with relevant linking relationships. Its hard to get link backs from other websites. You could then suggest to your client about using this tool and I'll have an affiliate program setup to give some credits for referrals,etc

I'll put a timeline of today at 8pm PST that the contest closes. Like i said, all decent entries automatically win. This way, you are not wasting your time. I will be able to let the customer pick and choose some designs, or i just pick one and go with it.

By submitting a design, you are granting me a royalty free license to use the artwork/design with the 5 free reports as payment. (the value of these reports are around $10-$25 per report. haven't finalized on pricing). Please include the PSD or PNG files so that if I decide to change wording, i can edit and export back to a gif/jpg form. include a link to the files at the bottom of the makeover page or include as an attachment.
