Best video edit software?
What would be best for cutting video from one 1-2 hour video?It's been a while since i worked with such software so i dont know what is good for such purposes.All i want is program which i can select piece of video and cut it out without problem like cpu overload or windows crushing.

vegas is overkill for what you are trying to do... i would recommend videocharge(www.videocharge.com) or just avi/mpg/wmv splitter (www.boilsoft.com).
vegas is a resource hog for what you are trying to do. |

If you're a beginner I would suggest Ulead's Video Studio. I'm assuming you're talking about editing video, not cutting an edited video into small clips.
