Lol what happened to the laker threads

Looks like the sweep is eminent welcome to the EAST. Btw lebron won 3 against celtics joe johnson won 3 detroit even won 2 How many you think the fake mvp will win. I SAY SWEEEP. Another airball lol last game thats 9 games in a row.

Can someone put an end to all the "Kobe is as good as MJ talk." Kobe wins one championship (i'm assuming the Lakers win) without Shaq and he's all of a sudden as good as MJ? I don't get it, Kobe hasn't even had one season that would crack any of MJ's top 10. Not to mention that Kobe isn't mentally tough enough to have gotten through those physical eastern conference playoffs in the 90s.

Bill Simmons: It's such an absurd argument that it's not even worth writing about. Kobe has shown flashes of MJ-dom, and he definitely dipped into those waters in the playoffs, but Jordan played at that level for 10 solid years, and he was doing it during an era when players got pounded and they didn't have the hand-check rules. I have written this before but I honestly believe that, if the MJ from '87 to '93 played with the rules in place from '05 to '08, he would have averaged 45 a game

The threads fouled out and got hammered on by Phil Jackson complaing about not enough fouls called.

Then Radmanovic made a four step with them for a dunk.

Oh come on.

The refs just want to make sure we get 6-7 games out of this series.. Don't be surprised if the Lakers finish this by winning 4 in a row....

Whoopie, they lost 2 games in a row, to the team with the best record in Basketball.. Just calm down, and let's see what you got to say come Sunday...

If your past predictions are any indication the Lakers should win this just fine.

That is some funny shit you posted. A real MVP would never go down in flames in a Finals game. The team might be shitty for two games but never a real MVP.

Kobe = FAIL

It's so fucking beautiful. Fuck the Lakers and fuck Kobe Bryant. The Jordan comparison is enough to make me wanna puke in my mouth. Kobe couldn't hold Jordans nuts on his best day. I am saying the Celtics take it in 5.

no MVP would ever go down 2 games in a finals unless its Karl Malone who we all know wasn't the REAL MVP. Just like that Kobe is NOT the true MVP.

Kobe is a top 5 player but NOT top 3... MVP is a joke. Chris Paul should have won this one.

Real teams win on the road. Real MVP's dont shoot brick jumpshots two games in a row. Real championship calibur teams play good defense. I highly doubt it gets past game 6.

I won't bother making predictions although I belive the Celtics will ultimately win.

As for your quote, Simmons is on point. Truth is, anybody arguing that Kobe plays at Jordan's level or anywhere near it really doesn't know basketball (either did not watch Jordan, or is caught up in Kobe fanfare to the point of delusion).

Your predictions are becoming legendary. SWEEP! LOL! Like I said no team has done shit until they win on the road. Lakers played worse then game 1 or 2 and still won. When they win the next 2 people will be talking shit about the Celtics again. Even though it will still be even in terms of holding home court.

Lakers have 2 more games to win and get their game going.

STILL haven't heard from the Lakers fans who were trying to decide whether LA was going to win in 4, 5 or 6...have you conceded YET that the real question should have been "who is going to win the series?"

Not only he choked, he had balls to blame it on someone else. Did you see the replay of his missed shot?

Did you see the start of the ESPN "analysis" segment? Stuart Scott asked them what happened to the Lakers and their 24 point lead...each so-called analyst answered with just one word. Jon Barry said "choked," and then Michael Wilbon said "gagged."

Kobe "MVP" Bryant after the game:
"We just wet the bed. A nice big one, too, one of the ones you can't put a towel over. It was terrible."
