Plantar Fasciitis is killing me. Anyone else have this? - GoFuckYourself.com

I have the insoles to put in my shoes. I never walk barefoot anymore, always using shoes with support, but it seems I just can't ease the pain much. Sometimes I can't sleep it hurts so bad.

What do you do?

No over the counter pain reliever really works for me but Advil, Ibuprofin I take 600mg-800mg at a time even for mild pain but it's gone in an hour..

You should go to a specialist and get advice maybe you need physio or a foot massage..

My wife has suffered from it for years. Every so often she'll get ultrasound guided cortisone injections right into the spot where the minute tear is.
Around 3 years ago she was suffering terribly and had 4 shots over 12 months and it's been pretty good since then. She does wear custom made insoles too and has to be careful what shoes to wear, particularly if she'll be on her feet for any length of time.
The cortisone really did help, but time I think overall was the greatest healer.
