I don't even want to know how much I spend on my dog a year. I have a 150lb Mastiff with way too many health problems. He takes all kinds of meds, I have to give him shots three times a month, I have to board him when I'm out of town, and he's on prescription food...costs me $1800 a year just to feed the little guy! And that's not including all the treats and toys his mama buys him! But I wouldn't trade him for the healthiest dog on the planet because he's the best dog EVER! He's pretty unforgettable and everyone falls in love with him. He's my life and I love being his mom! Can't put a price on that...

We bread german shepherds and one of them named Bora (it's she) has an allergy to chicken meat so we feed her with ProPlan Salomon & Rise. The cure was a bit expensive, but it doesn't matter, she's our princess. She's hyperactive so she hurts herself very often and it's getting usual to visit our Vets

I've had several of my cats live to be over 15 years old. As they get older things tend to happen healthwise. I just figure if you spread the cost out for how long (figuratively) you've had the animal it's more than worth it.

Of course now.. one of these kitties...

was *the* persian kitty.

my ferret costs about $10 a month in food and about $20 a year in injections, but he's chewed every curtain, and chair he can find, he's got a fabric fetish.

Golden Labrador to be exact hehe. But yeah he's very very good with people and other animals. We had a cat when we first got the dog and he loved him.. I swear to you when my cat died the dog was different for the first 2 weeks. It freaked me out. It was like he was missing his old buddy (even tho the cat didnt really like him that much)

Good to hear he's fit and healthy again. Can't imagine how you must have felt when that happened.

Dogs tend to have big hearts. When I was a kid we had a dog and him mom was a golden retriever. We never knew who his father was but since he was black and kind of resembled a labrador we always thought the dog's father must have been a labrador. Seems like your dog is worth every cent. A great and faitfull friend.
