Yeah.. I haven't found a webmaster cheat sheet on the 'How To' part either.

You're getting ahead of yourself and it's sorta obvious you're not too sure of what you're doing or how to go about it. Just be wary of anyone offering to help you out at this point, and do your research before jumping into bed with anyone.
