using programs with version number like 0.5.2
I just noticed my aircard software version number is something like 0.6.31 and I noticed the other day a plug in I was using was version 0.5
is that just the programmer's way of saying in advance "hey, don't blame me... we're not even at version 1.0 yet"

Yup, it's called Beta.
Windows does it, Firefox does it... they just don't use a 0. They just simply call it beta. Use at your own risk. |
