NATS v4.0 RELEASE DATE SET

We are pleased to announce that our beta testing was overwhelmingly successful and we are ready to release NATS v4.0 to the general public starting Friday, August 1, 2008! NATS v3.1

Garbled Passwords in E-mails to Affiliates

- We recently fixed a bug which caused garbled passwords in automated e-mails to affiliates.

WTS Poll Fix

- We recently updated the WTS poll to properly account for pending transactions when WTS processes a Check Pre-Authorization.

GXBill Username Update Fix

- We recently changed our passwd_gxb.php script that allows NATS to retain member information if the username changes on GXBill's end prior to posting.

GXBill & Unique Usernames

- passwd_gxb.php now properly accounts for the UNIQUE_USERNAMES config setting when adding new users.

Adtools Banners Fix

- Banners are now correctly limited by type when viewing them in the affiliate area.

User Management URL Enhancement

- Before making a call to the User Management URL, NATS will attempt to pull full details of the member from the NATS database if a memberid is available.

poll_cancels.php Deprecation

- The functionality of poll_cancels.php has been removed as it has become deprecated.

Affiliates Credit for Epoch Cross Sales

- We have added a checkbox in the Cross Sales Admin for Epoch that allows you to choose whether affiliates get credit for cross sales from their traffic. (NOTE: this will only work if you are promoting across sites that are a part of your install)

Error Messages for Affiliate Signup

- If an affiliate attempts to sign up using a taken username or email address, the signup script will now return an error on the first signup page instead of the second.

Epoch Cross Sale Expire Date

- NATS will now properly set expire dates for Epoch Cross Sales instead of using the previous member's date.

Wildcard Search on Emails

- NATS will now allow you to search with wildcards on Emails if this field is unencrypted in your database.

RESELLER_VERIFY & RESELLER_MANUAL_ACTIVATION

- We have recently made changes to our signup process so that if both RESELLER_VERIFY and RESELLER_MANUAL_ACTIVATION are active on a NATS install and an affiliate verifies their email address, he/she will still be inactive until an admin approves them but the Resellers admin will show that the email has been verified.

Double Email Decryption Fix for Webbilling

- One of our scripts devoted to processing Webbilling initial transactions was double decrypting emails from the database. This has been fixed in the latest version.

NetBilling Poll Changes

- Due to some recent updates from NetBilling, we have changed the way we take our polls from NetBilling resulting in more accurate results in rarer scenarios.

NetBilling Cross Sale Expire Padding

- We recently made a change so that we can support Expire Padding for cross sales that are coming from a NetBilling v2 client to NetBilling v3 client and vice versa.

Cascading Reliability Improvements

- We recently added some background changes to our cascade function that makes the transition from a gateway biller to a non-gateway biller more eliable.

Netbilling One-Click Rebuys

- NATS now supports the ability for surfers to purchase tokens from netbilling and have it track properly through NATS.

GXBill Post URL

- NATS will now post member information when a user is added via passwd_gxb.php.

123Bill Credits Fix

- 123Bill credit transactions now post for the proper amount in NATS.

123Bill Expire Padding

- NATS now supports expire date padding for 123Bill.

123Bill Subscription ID's

- If 123Bill does not pass NATS a subscription ID, we will now use the initial transactionid along with the numeric memberid as a subscription ID for the member.

Email Dump Improvements

- Due to the large size of Email dumps, NATS now exports all email information to a separate file for download and then allows the user to download the file.

WTS Cross Sale Support

- NATS v3.1 now supports cross sales to/from WTS, one of our integrated payment processors.

XML Parsing Fix

- We found and corrected a typo in our XML parser class which caused errors in certain rare cases. The XML parser is commonly used when parsing postbacks from certain payment processors.

GXBill Memberid's

- We now pass a surfer's NATS memberid when sending a member to GXBill, which allows NATS to track the member easier when their transaction is posted back.

Gateway Signup Email Fix

- We have corrected a bug introduced on/after 3.1.46.1 that did not decrypt a surfer's email when reloading signup/gateway/signup.php.

CARMA 1.3

create_flash.php

- This script has been changed so that it always uses the correct path on the server when generating flash files.

carma_list_favorites Improvements

- We've alter the carma_list_favorites function so that you have the option of getting unique or duplicate galid's.

Video Name in show_video.php

- The name of the video on show_video.php is now automatically assigned as a template variable.

view_image.php Performance Enhancements

- We recently modified view_image.php to implement client-side caching, which helps prevent timeout issues for larger clients.

- We switched the usage of uniqid() (a PHP built-in function) to microtime() (another PHP built-in function) in a number of internal functions in CARMA. This is because there are known bugs with uniqid() in certain versions of PHP v4.

- We are adding extra affiliate statuses that will allow certain user only see certain types of data based on the admin they are viewing and what site/program/affiliate the data is for.

Fraud Reporting

- We are currently building the fraud reports for NATS 4 that will allow you to check your affiliates' activities on a number of different criteria.

Default Templates Using sTrack

- We are currently in the process of setting up all of the external templates to use strack when linking to one of your NATS-supported sites.

Mail Format Standardization

- We are currently redoing our mailing functions so that all mail sent from the NATS install is sent in a plain text/HTML multi-part MIME format. This will allow for almost any email client to be able to read NATS mailings.

Includes Admin

- The Pop-Up/Exit Admin is now the Includes Admin! With this new setup, you will have more flexibility in how your pop-ups and includes behave, as well as allowing you to use your own code for pop-ups.

Affiliate Postbacks

- We are currently investigating ways to allow NATS to postback information to affiliates for a given use case.

Adtool Improvements

- We are in the process of making the adtool interface more dynamic, which will allow you do things like add new types of Adtools or group certain types of Adtools easily.

- We are currently adding the ability to change an affiliate's password from the admin.

Manual Bulk Publishing

- We are currently working on a method to allow admins to publish multiple sets at once without having to use scheduling rules.

Copy Site

- CARMA will allow you to copy the EXACT contents of the templates from one site into another.
