Wordpress and Smart Thumbs problem

Anyone know how to make wordpress that's in a sub folder that has smart thumbs site running on the main url work correctly with the permalinks and htaccess. I've never had this problem before but if you have any ideas please let me know.

I don't have an answer for you but is this a common problem? I was going to do a Wordpress install in a sub folder of a site running Smart Thumbs this weekend.

Ya it's in a sub folder and when you click one of the permalinks it goes to the right url but shows the main root page with the smart thumbs tgp.
