Am I the only one who had a quick and easy flight back home?

It seems a ton of you had issues, which sucks. Normally, we know what you mean averaging 15-20 hours to get anywhere in the US from Costa Rica.

However this time, we got to the airport, checked in and were sitting by our gate having a drink within 5 minutes. Our plane decided to take off early, because there were only about 12 people on it! We had as much space to ourselves to lie down as we liked. The flight attendants were practically having a party on board heh.

Then, arriving home we got through the CR airport in a matter of minutes. Much better than the often 1-2 hours it takes us when there are people.

Not to rub it in or nothing...then again, this is the only time we've had such an easy time so I'm allowed to

Good seeing y'all in Miami as always, for those who I saw.

Mine was fine for the first leg. When I had gotten to MN to switch planes for the ride back it MI, that was another story.

The plane was late getting in. Then they had a bunch of old fucks in wheelchairs, and families with 4-7 kids, all in strollers, who had to get off the plane before we could board. That alone took 10-15 minutes at least.

Then we had to wait for the same types to board the plane before we could, delaying the plan even longer for take off. The plane was fully booked, and you had people trying to get on it, and they were mad.

All the pre-boarding made worse by retards coming off the plane who apparently never flew before and can't find, and look at a monitor. So you have 50 people asking where their next flight was, the gate, and how to get there.

Once in the air, it was fine more a less. Grand Rapids is a fairly efficient airport to come into, grab your luggage, be dropped off at your car, flip them their $8 a day fee and the bird on your way home.

I was in the airport for around 6 hours. Flights to/around nyc were delayed and/or cancelled. Ours was delayed 3.5 hours.

My flight was great if you edit out
Sitting in the airport for 2 hours..
Sitting in the plane for a 1/2 hour before the plane moved
2 kids crying kids behind me
the 2 crying kids learning a new game (kick the fuck out of the chair infront of you)
and the flight ending with gee where the hell is my other bag... (should be here tomorrow)
And to top it off.. 2 hours in airport talking to the customs people.. Beacuse the bag they lost was the one with our meter boards and banners..

Was a great way to spend ones Bday.. really much better then then going out to dinner with the GF.

But on the upside the plane didnt crash and the show was great...

My flight was delayed just over 2 hours... I guess the weather elsewhere was causing flights to come in late.

It was nice meeting you Varius!

4.5 hour delay because of a loose wire = 10 hour flight to west coast.
