This is fucking retarded. Nobody can spin this into a positive thing. You Repubs can try all you want. Not happening.

Are you retarded ?

You're trying to run a VP against a President on qualifications ?

Obama has zero foreign policy experience, zero experience approving budgets, zero experience at the federal level except for 6 months until he started running for president.

Obama has zero chance and you lefties who think he does are stroking yourselves.

Biden was a dumb ass pick just like Edwards was. Neither brought anything to the ticket and would be weak Presidents.

I'm not a McCain fan and I'm not in the GOP so I don't want to hear any dumb ass attacks about them.

There was a poll out just yesterday that showed 60% of the public identified as conservative and this is a huge disaster for Obama.

Obama will get his ass kicked bad so prepare for the loss now people !

Considering McCain is 72 and has cancer yeah I think it's fair comparison. 50% chance McCain doesn't finish his first term. I'll bet $1000 on that right now.

Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Kennedy had none also. Bush I, Nixon, LBJ and Ike did. How'd that work out for us? I count 3 fucking wars among those 4 guys.

What does this whore bring to the table and how do you have any clue to how good a president she would be?

You=retard. Do you even have a clue as to how elections work? what is "ass kicked" By votes. Sorry elections aren't determined by popular vote 2000 should have taught you that. Otherwise Gore would have been president.

I can't see Obama getting less than 250 electoral votes which I would hardly call and "ass kicking"

It's really fucking scary that every four years we have to worry about who's the next idiot to come along. Americans should demand more from their candidates and there should be some kind of competency or IQ test. This is absolutely redicuolus to have this right wing extremist, zero experinece female governor, who only met McCain twice, one step from running this country.

Palin is imply a pawn for two reasons: Her connection to big oil and to capture female votes. The funny things is, I doubt she is even knows she is being used as a pawn.

I wasn't sure if Bush was right for this country at the beginning of his first term, but I am sure that McCain is NOT right for this country, which is at a very critical stage.

Try to turn around the facts all you want and say Obama has zero experience but the man is a leader and highly intelligent. I feel confident that I will not have to question his judgement every single day for the next 4-8 years.

I think we need someone who has never worked in government before really.

Think about it. They pass a bill about protecting children, and buried in this bill is money for a bridge in Florida and an off ramp on a freeway in Texas. This kind of shit needs to stop.

I really believe that once you get elected to Congress / Senate / White House you leave your party behind and work for the common good. Not vote one way because your party tells you to.

Here are the facts: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.xpd?id=400629

Also for the 130 present votes while in the state gov, he also voted over 4000 times in total.

Also Mccain is an old man so its very fucking important who is vp is.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives becomes VP if the President dies. The current Speaker of the House is, Nancy Pelosi. So as it stands, Nancy Pelosi would become VP.

I knew you were going to think I was calling you on your spelling, but that is not it at all.

If the President dies, the VP becomes Pres, but the Speaker does not become VP. The Speaker becomes President if both the President and VP die, otherwise, the new President appoints a new VP.

The New President could leave the slot empty, or we need a majority vote of both Houses of Congress. Even the idea that Nancy could some how, in some far reach of away become President even today, is scary.

I have to agree with Tony. It drives me up a wall to think that adult webmasters in the US can actually support the republicans. Do you really care about this business? Will you give a shit if adult ceases to exist within the US? Is this just a fucking hobby to you or do you have a backup plan? Unfuckingbelievable! And to all those who would vote for her because she is a MILF, I really wish you had higher standards in choosing our leaders.

Here's a nice little article on how giddy the evangelicals are:

The Alaska Oil and gas Conservation Commission ("AOGCC") has a very important role in this process ? to protect the public?s interest by preventing waste and insuring greater ultimate recovery of both oil and gas. To fulfill this role, the AOGCC will decide what gas offtake rates should be allowed from Prudhoe Bay and other North Slope oilfields. Considering only the laws of science, these decisions are very simple; to prevent waste and insure a greater ultimate hydrocarbon recovery, produce all of the commercially recoverable oil in a reservoir first, and then ?blow down? its gas cap. The AOGCC recognizes, however, that many other factors will ? and should ? be considered in exercising its regulatory powers.

Also, Alaska itself and ANWR. She's the key to the state and this will make her hubby a rich man. It's all about oil.

This is having shades of why I discontinued the other discussion with you lat night (apologies if I came off rude).

You do realize that under your scenario Pelosi has the same opportunity to become VP if Obama is elected. Hell, with your scenario she is already there.

I am not sure that the new President could leave the spot empty. You have some reliance you can cite to back up that claim?

Got to agree. If the VP becomes pres. then he (hopefully not she) will choose their own VP. At least that is what I believe.

I was more pointing to the factor of possible two Women in the seats of power, and one being her

Several Presidents have left the VP seat empty, after VP deaths and other things, just not normally for an entire term. I don't know if any or how long it was open, after a VP took President power, my memory isn't that good.

No examples? Only example I can think of is Agnew's resignation but he was promptly replaced by Ford. I am pretty sure the law requires an appointment if the VP dies or steps down.

edit: Okay, when LBJ assumed office after Kennedy was killed he did not fill that vacancy. Will have to see how long that lasted.

I am logically sexist, yes - doesn't mean I don't think a women can't do the job, but having two women, for sure when one has no experience at running anything but the pta and the other is a total nut cast, I'm not being sexiest - I'm being logical.

From: http://www.factcheck.org/askfactchec...residency.html

25th Amendment: Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

When Lyndon B. Johnson became president after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the position of vice president remained vacant for the remainder of his term. Had Johnson left office during that time, House Speaker John W. McCormack of Massachusetts would have been next in line to take his place as president. After Johnson won the 1964 election, his running mate, Hubert H. Humphrey, became vice president. A few years later, in Feb. 1967, the 25th amendment was ratified.

Vice President Spiro Agnew stepped down and was convicted of corruption charges after pleading "no contest." President Richard Nixon then appointed House Republican Leader Gerald Ford as vice president. When Nixon resigned and Ford became president, Ford named former New York Gov. Nelson Rockefeller as his vice president.

You are not really being logical. There is very little chance that a Republican VP that inherited the office of pres because of death (or any other reason) would pick the Democrat Speaker of the House.

Didn't I already cite those two examples?

Oh yes, not at all logical since the chain of command, is written in a way that she could get that power. And the President isn't the one that puts them into power, the Dem's that are in power could vote her in. Now, does that really sound like it's that far of a reach? I could see them being either stupid or retarded enough to do just that.

Did you ask me the question, post the answer, and ask me for the source?

No, Congress can not vote her in if the President doesn't nominate her, and I am saying it is not logical to think a Republican president is going to nominate a Democrat [unless there was some major National scandal that resulted in impeachment, then maybe].

And you said there were many examples. I guess I was hoping you could provide more than the one I already provided.
