Clay Bennett from Oklahoma City bought the Seattle Supersonics a couple of years ago. He reached a settlement with the city of Seattle to void the remaining years on the team's lease and moved the team to Oklahoma City this summer.
The Supersonics name and record will remain in Seattle for a possible future franchise. The new team name and colors will be announced tomorrow. I hope the name is not Thunder. |
