Not a glitch, no human error. This is real. Some webmasters are getting responses from ClickCash with explanations. I have other CC accounts I can use so its not really that big of a deal - just updating all those links and losing my downline really sucks. Thank god VideoSecret's Flirt4Free is honest and dependable. I'd be screwed if they did something like this. This really brings to light how thankful we should be that most of the other top webcam sponsors have respect for their affiliates.

ClickCash can go fuck themselves. They just stole my money.

I just got the same email. I have never sent fraudulent traffic or any other kind of traffic that nobody else is sending.

The funny thing is I have used the exact same concept as Will and all the other Clickcash sites to promote the program.

If they can't handle the signups don't fucking allow us to promote it as free signup.

Choke on a dick ClickCash.

The script used on this site www.free-adult-webcams.net does anyone know where you can get it? I used to have it but the site that sold it is no longer online, if anyone has it in full and wants to sell it let me know.

Yeah I heard about that one incident with VS, and Im 50/50 on that. Its a fine line and both sides have a case. I still push VS as my #1 sponsor and stand by them 100% - AK & Tim have always been there for me even when times were tough. Closing a dormant affiliate account of 3 yrs is nothing compared to what CC has just done to hundreds of long time affiliates. A change in the payout scale, or even a complete revamping of the CC system could be justified - but terminating hundreds of accounts out of the blue? That creates one helluva mess for a lot of webmasters.

I'm not saying I wouldn't promote them, but I actually think what they did is WAY worse than what CC is doing. Terminating accounts because they were paying out on free registrations that didn't convert to sales (affiliate payouts grossly outweighed by actual sales generated by those affiliates) is a lot more justifiable to me than than terminating and not paying out on a revshare account that DID produce at least one valuable customer and ALL they had to pay out on was a percentage of that still-active customer's purchases. I know that it was only one affiliate as far as we know and that they eventually made it right after people freaked out, but there is no way I would say one program is more trustworthy than the other in this particular face-off. I'm not defending either one of them, I'm just saying that I don't "trust" any of these sponsors to think you can retire next year on work you did for them last year.

Another thing people seem to be overlooking in this thread is that Clickcash has the longest fucking cookie life of any program I have ever heard of; kind of the opposite of trying to scam affiliates in the easiest way possible. I still think the easy money people have made off of it for so many years is kind of mind-blowing.

It would be really refreshing if both affiliates and sponsors would be more realistic and admit where they've fucked up and where they need to change.

I have a site designed around their model and stopped promoting them along time ago and have no pushed any traffic their direction. I have never received this notice, just checked my account and can still log in.
Looks like I have a couple of sales, but I am not going to hold my breath on getting paid due to the present situation.

Good news and bad news....

A post by Emily in the clickcash forum says that now "former" clickcash affiliates that were owed money will get their payouts.

The reason accounts were closed were based solely on the quality of customers we were referring. Not converstion ratios, click thru %'s or anything else. A lot of us were getting $40 a pop and that customer wasn't spending a dime on iFriends. Unfortunately iFriends can't count on the Fed to bail them out when the well runs dry.

While I understand their dilemma, a simple heads up or request to update our advertising methods could've easily fixed the problem without causing a tidal wave of anger through the adult webmaster community.

Reading that thread now, Radiantx -- thanks for the updates.

While what they're saying makes sense, they are the ones that established that precedent of FREE FREE FREE. It's pretty HILARIOUS that a) it's taken them this long to figure out how counterproductive that is and b) that now the complete blame lies with affiliates. Oh well, for the camgirls' sakes I really hope this will help them out. Surfers need to be educated that WHORES NEED TO BE PAID! And I mean that in the most positive, warm and fuzzy way.

I think they lost on the cross sales, up sales and everything else they tried to push. The idea of free turned into a nightmare for some customers. Hell, when I signed up, to look into what they offered the suffer and how the customer was treated. I quickly found out a $100 later that I had been charged a pile of BS and the $1.00 trial was a joke.....unless you read the very fine print.......LOL
This doesn't surprise me a bit that this has come to a end.....if that is the case.

Doesn't matter much, I have been finished for quite some time, but still seem to earn money from doorway pages....still doesn't mean I am getting paid ;)

CC did well for a long while,

kind of a paradox to advertise a 100% free lifetime membership that costs $1 though.

Their payouts were huge, and there were zero x sales and everything was customizable...very simple sales.

But it was over-saturated for a long while, can't signup the same person twice, and they scrubbed like a motherfucker.. Some days it was just so obvious.

Plus they skimmed, and the fact that they are account terminate friendly is real stressful to me especially if i'm investing big money for the PPS return.

Stream Mate would be an ideal replacement, but apparently they just convert you from PPS to REVSHARE if your sales don't fit their performance of free joins.

My question is what is the next best thing? I'm in the process of switching sponsors right now and other than Stream Mate I don't see any programs with an even similar layout which is odd for this industry.

ImLive is pretty much an iFriends clone - but they pay out $100-$150 per signup (user has to deposit $20+ via ccbill after getting a screen name). They would make a great replacement for existing CC links.

For the past couple years though, when it comes to cams, Im all for revshare. Once in a while you reel in a high roller and watching your $$$ for the day suddenly quadruple is a great feeling.

Imlive will drop you to revshare or low pps if your traffic sucks. I guess thats better than having your account termed.

I too love videosecrets, but keep the secret , I don't want everyone and their mother promoting them.

Curious.... Is there anyone still doing well with ClickCash with the launch of v2? Assuming they still have an active account. :P

Not to comment on the overall thread, but on one specific point I will say ... When ClickCash cancels an account they no longer accept traffic to that affiliate link. They actually reject it and put up a "this affiliate has been cancelled" message.

I have lost 10's if not 100's of thousands of dollars because of their BS account cancelling, not trying to stick up for them, but wanted to clear up that one point.

Hey will76, dont mean to shit-disturb but can you please explain what happened with clickcash closing so many accounts in 2008?

I was thinking on taking you up on your offer for help promoting clickcash but then I remembered this thread.

thanks.
