What changed? Seriously. Anything you can think of.
Code doesn't usually modify itself.

edit: maybe it's a case sensitivty issue: recordcount() != recordCount() -- i'm just making shit up, though.

The error usually means that an external class(custom not part of PHP) has not been intiated and the inside function is not accessible.

Or your host has recently upgraded PHP and your not utilizing it.

I'll bump this again, but I have no clue.

"recordcount()" is a pretty generic method name - I'm guessing the death of your site is in regard to some 3rd party software. What are you running?

its video software. It worked fine yesterday. Came home tonight and saw email saying that its not showing videos. tested myself and saw that error. Checked all php files if theywere changed.. nothing was changed..

My last bump for you.
Last thing I can offer is just be a bit more specific, as "its video software" doesn't really help. Then again, if you didn't change anything, hopefully your host will have an answer.

Good luck, yo.

ive read using recordcount on PHP5 has issues.
So looks like its an upgrade issue as mentioned above.
