How to use Reason to make beats/music?

Could anyone with some experience in using Reason tell me what is the best way to learn how to use it? I've tried watching the youtube tutorial vids and everything but I'm just left confused. I guess I just need to learn the basics of importing samples and such
and I could teach myself from there but I can't even really get a single sound to come out of the program as is LOL.

I've never worked with mixers before or any kind of musical equipment basically. I also don't have a USB piano keyboard yet but I am going to get one once I learn the basics of this program..

Later on when I'm a super producer I'll look back on this thread and PayPal you all a bunch of monies I promise.

I suggest using fl studio first if you are totally new to music production. Its step sequencer interface is very simple to learn and makes a great starting point to getting into digital audio software. Reason is fantastic but it has quite a steep learning curve. If youtube vids are a bit overwhelming you could search out some tutorials on music production forums like http://www.dogsonacid.com/

I doubt .iso's come with manuals

On the other hand, I agree with marketsmart, flstudio is a good place to start. It's by far the easiest to pick up; I've been using it since 2.7.
