Videocharge for OS X (video software)

Just made the switch to mac from PC, picked me up the new macbook pro, loving it so far and honestly haven't had as much of an issue with the transition as I thought - all software I regularly use has a crossover for mac, except one that I use on a constant constant basis. Videocharge!

It basically allows you to batch many different things, makes chopping up videos for movie FHG's a breeze, or chopping up content for smaller clips for clips4sale and the like. You just input how long you want your clips to be and it does it nice and quick. Very neat software that I love but it's not available for OS X, and I'm hard pressed to find something that has equivalent features. I have installed windows on my mac, but it'd be a pain to have to switch OS's

anyone have any mac based tools they use? Thus far I've tried "mpeg streamclip" I think it's called, which is nice for quick trimming of stuff, but I'm really looking for the batch features that videocharge has.

Much appreciate any advice, and if by any longshot you have a refcode or whatever to drop in with a software somehow, please include it

thank you!

Try installing Boot Camp or Windows Parralel. You can install a virtual copy of Windows on your Macbook for those lesser known programs you like to use. Works like a charm

Thanks for the recommendations, I did use bootcamp to install windows, but it's somewhat of a pain to switch back and forth - windows parallel I was thinking about, but my previous experiences with VMware and such they were always brutally slow. Then again, this is one quick machine so maybe it won't be an issue - I'll certainly give that a try if I can't come up with something that runs native on OS X

thanks for the recommendation
