Here are some things that come to mind...

1. Members areas without full length, and only segments.
2. Members areas with only WMV, AVI, MPG, dial up versions, etc
3. Members areas with only video, no stills.
4. Members areas full of upsells.
5. Members areas that look like my filing system on HD, not set up for surfers.

Your list and thoughts?

I like a simple not flashy nav. I think some upsells but not crazy. Pics and vids, in fact that came up and I checked my stats. They go to both video more but photos enough that I wouldnt do away with it. I do wmv hi and lo and a mp4 for qt and ipod.

Another way to see it is not minding that some sites have shitty members areas. That when the customer finds a good one they might stay longer

let the members communicate, every video and pics with comments etc ... they may feel more like family so may stay longer
