It definitely gets the minimalist award. I tend to like such designs and personally find them memorable.
I do think you could add something to what appears to be a thumb area to add a bit more visual interest however. |

 Btw, did you notice a slowness in displaying the ads (either php or mysql) too? Yesterday it was quite bad, and I emailed my host about it. |

frankfortuna, at first my plan was to insert some thumbs into the 'selected' section, but it didn't really fit to the design. I may be adding some other features soon.
