Google Reinclusion requests for adult sites?

So I am hearing that more or less Google Reinclusion requests for adult sites are ignored.

Has anyone here been successful? I know there are some very bad boys here.

I picked up a great domain last year and it's pretty clear that something is wrong with it. It's #1 out of 3 million for it's search term on Yahoo and it should be the same on Google, but not a single entry at all.

Anyone have any experience?

have you tried yet? the reinclusion request is through google.com/webmasters/tools

I would set up that domain with webmasters tools first off and put a reinclusion request in as well, and perhaps an email wouldn't hurt.

Head to https://www.google.com/webmasters/ and add your site and see if Google confirms there are problems.

Good luck getting a reinclusion request happen for an adult site. Unless you are some unique, special adult site with something of substance to offer to the surfer.

A better place to start would be what type of ban OR penalty is it under. Is it full on removed from the index, or just penalized. Back to 2nd-3rd page, or back to the 95th page etc. Any pages indexed? Any backlinks showing? Anything showing in archive.org for clues?

Lots of places to start but not enough info to say anything. Also to add, it ranking in yahoo has absolutely nothing to do with its rank in google. It again would have to be a legitimately established and quality site to rank high in both.

note: when you do a search in google like so:

site:www.yourdomain.com

if the domain shows up, then it is not banned, if it doesn't show up then it is possibly banned, and very likely banned if the domain has had an active website for some time

On the few adult domains that I've submitted, it's worked every time.

reinclusion is simple and quick if all is in order.

I assume you have a sitemap submitted and verified your site?

As they said - under webmaster tools you can see if you are listed and how many pages. Many many ther useful tools in there including google crawler stats.

I wrote a reinclusion request for a site that had been removed due to a CP complaint via chillingeffects.org. Completely unfounded - I only use reputable sponsors and FHGs. Probably a case of someone going "OMFG those teens look young" and not actually taking any steps to confirm age... or perhaps even a competitor.

Google didn't even bother sending back a form reply, never heard back, and nothing has changed.
