why is this so shocking - it's all over the place today in Canada and the US. The player has a reputation but in this case I don't think he did anything that bad - the other player was gouging his eye while he had his arms and hands restrained by others - what else could he do but bite? just stand there and have his eyes gouged?
people are funny - you can hit somebody over the head with a stick, but biting is such a horrible thing? god gave you teeth - use them! CHOMPPPPPPPP!
