can you host 500mbps -1000mbps - killer anti DOS attack admins?
K, I've been brought in to consult for a very busy site (which shall no be named on this board) that is constanly being attacked. They push roughly 500mbps being down half the time. Would need to be with a rock solid company that is very adept at preventing DOS and other hack attempts. Servers would need to be load balanced, most of the traffic is just images and text.
Want to get some ideas of the cost here Estimates From the big boys only! DO NOT ICQ me, please use the email in my sig and email ballpark quotes and some costs associated with it.

gleem,
what part of the site is being attacked? where does the large bandwidth usage come from? you could save a lot of money by only placing the attacked portion of your website on a ddos protected network, while serving the content from a less expensive host (because ddos protected transit is going to be very expensive). You need specialized hardware at the routing level to mitigate on-going ddos attacks and not have any effect on your site.
