I think this is all interesting, but besides run off from crappy TGP Asian traffic, where do you get it from? You pretty much have to speak the proper language to even figure out how to submit to Japanese/Thai/Korean/Chinese SEs.. So where does the traffic come from?

That's all? The last time I was listed on their site (admittedly it was over a year ago) I got well over 100k uniques and I'm still getting rebills from a few of those sales.

DMM is the biggest Japanese site and they actually STOPPED accepting Korean members for various reasons some time ago.
Kuki sells in Korea, they have a specific Korean version for the market.

It is a very fickle market, Asians seem to respect products that appear to be domestic and designed for them. Foreign sites are meant to be hacked.

A good example of a guy who knows how to sell in Taiwan and CN is 999cashgold.com. AFAIK they do the largest Chinese language adult volume.

Ok so what do they really have besides a lot of interlinked sites ? Most of what I've seen appears to be video (vhs, dvd) stores and sales. Are there paysites mixed in there too that are laid out similiar to what we have with leased feeds, galleries, and videos?

I tried clicking a lot of the signup links that I could figure out, and saw Zeroweb.jp (i think thats what it was), but most seemed to also indicate credit cards.. visa.

I don't know how cellular signups would look so if I saw them I didn't recognize any.

Most common way of typing is just typing out in romaji and have that converted to kana as you type.
