I saw this scene in a movie called The Toxic Avenger, at a friend's house when I was like 6 or 7 years old. I had nightmares for YEARS and hated riding my bike at night. I just watched this again for the first time since the 80s and I got a sick feeling, even after all the fucked up shit I've seen online. Is it just me or was this extremely hardcore for an R rated movie from 1984?

yeah... I was in the same boat but I can't say that it scarred me for life.. I've seen some asian movies that are far scarier ..... Silent Hill tops it too.... but yeah I remember when I was like 8-9 yo.. the exorcist was da bomb

Had a dream I was a kid riding a bike dodging oncoming vehicles last night. It wasn't a nightmare because I didnt get hit and I wasnt really scared but still... WTF!!!! That movie is so fucking evil!!!!!!!!!!!

used to watch Toxic Avenger all the time with my friends in high school.

the gore didn't bother me, but I do remember that rape scene being a bit hardcore.
