They want to imagine what they are seeing is real, they want to connect with the models, the action and above all the fantasy of the scene. The saying "It could happen to me." is the most important thing in porn.

This is true of lots of entertainment. When we play a computer game we want it as real as possible, when we watch a movie we often want to believe we could be the hero. A lot of entertainment is separation from reality, while being real in our imagination.

It's like we know we are not a super commando saving the world, but we are when we watch a Rambo movie. Well we imagine we could be.

Think about it as an example and be broad in your thinking.

The same goes for porn. The consumer wants to believe he can find girls, or guys if he's gay, he can fuck easily with his 12 inch dick and do it so well she screams the house down before fainting in exhaustion. You have to adapt that to your particular niche or fetish.

He does not imagine she's only doing it for the money, for a pornographer and is going to fake her way through the whole scene. And is about as turned on as the girls he meets every day.

The better image quality you show in porn the clearer the consumer will believe or not believe in what he's watching. Will a porn buyer go and buy 3D glasses to view 3D porn? Some will, but that porn has to be 3 times better than 1D porn to make him do it. And while you spend all your time and money getting the technical part right you're in danger of losing the main ingredient of porn. The porn.

Don't put too much money or hopes in 3D

I lost a shitload of it years ago with 3D VHS & glasses
and in Disney world 3D movies gimme a headache each time (I feel cross eyed every time)

Even though your quality is better then anything around, people would not go to a store and get glasses. Porn is an impulse buy market. Fast, in/out, forget, next, kind of way.
Same as advertising porn sites in newspapers & magazines; just won't work.

But if you can make it a success, which I hope you will, you'll have my utmost respects.

Can not post link. You need to pay for that via Request. I am content provider. my business to sell content to you. Of coarse there will be only few guys who try that and make fortune. The rest will come back to late. but looks like you will be one in the middle making good money too with it.

You're getting people to agree with you, so let's assume you're right about our customers.

So why are we trying to sell them a recurring monthly membership that will appear on his CC month after month? No if you're right we are wrong trying to sell them what we are selling.

Porn is not an impulse buy except in the impulse of what to buy. Porn buyers are regulars at porn shops or upgrade their Cable package to get it or join sites after site. If they did not join site after site content would never get saturated in members areas. The impulse is what site to buy from, not to buy.

So will a porn buyer bother to go out and get the glasses to watch the scene? That depends on how badly he wants to see the scene, which depends on the skills of the shooter to get something very special out of the models. And if he could do that he does not need 3D or HD to sell his site. But if you give him both he is more likely to join your site than someone elses. Or the site you send him to.

Porn is not an impulse buy normally. The buyers buy the same porn time after time. It's usually the porn that triggers their fantasies on sex. They know the niche, they know good from bad, they do sign up into site after site. Often they know the next site they will sign up to. Very often they will rejoin a site they have been a member of before because they know it, like it and know it keeps updating. The only proviso is if you can't sell to this type of traffic, then your sales are pure impulse.

Does HD or now 3D make a difference to the members over the quality of the action? Yes without a doubt. The fact that I can see the scene clearer or get the feeling I'm in there is wonderful. If the scene is right. If the models are not doing it right, if the shooter is not getting the scene right and if the lighting and sound are not spot on getting it clearer is a disadvantage not a benefit. If it's bad porn seeing it clearer or getting the feeling I was there, is worse.

What sells best, porn that is a planned buy because the surfer has seen it and will buy it next time he wants porn. Or porn that's an impulse buy, in that he might as well buy this one? And please no one start telling us their sites are so good they trigger the impulse to buy amongst the non buyers.

Here;s the ONLY way 3D TV and movies will work.

Current 3D Technology sucks because in order to see 3D, you must feed a slightly different image to each of your eyes. When 2 Cameras shoot the same scene (1 for the left eye, and 1 for the right eye), both images are sent to 1 display (video, movie, or magazine page for example).

To split this image back for each eye, special glasses are needed. Polarized (1 eye vertical, 1 eye horizontal) work well enough, but each eye sees only 50% of the image detail (12 frames per second in the movies, 15 frames per second on TV) as well as half the luminosity (images are darker than they should be).

This being said, 3D still sucks. When SUPERMAN came out in IMAX a few years ago, parts of the movie were in 3D. I hated the 3D scenes for each of the reasons above. Shitty image quality, too dark, bleah...

The NEW way of doing things now is with the new Flat panel TV's from Sharp and others. The latest TV's are 120Hz, that is, they displays update twice as fast as other TV's. This allows them to display twice as many frames per second, or, to display 30 frames per second to EACH EYE. And during a 3D program, luminosity is increased as well.

120Hz TV's have other value as well as the image quality is better than what is currently available. A good 120hz TV costs about $3000 and features 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio thanks to OLED backlighting, etc...

I have not seen this work in real life yet but have been reading up on it. 3D May be here after all.

I will shoot a few scenes next week, before I start treatment, and the models who want to fake their way through the scenes will be sent home without money. Because my members hate faked porn. Members of all sites will choose real orgasms on poor images over faked orgasms on the highest quality image. They want scenes that are different from scenes on other sites in the niche and style, they want models doing it for real, they want models who do a porn scene and need to rest for 30 minutes afterwards. You know what I mean by this. Then you can worry about the image quality. Because bad porn in the crispest, cleanest, greatest image quality is worse that poor porn on a poor image. You can imagine it's better if you can't see it so clearly. You have to adapt that to your particular niche or fetish. He does not imagine she's only doing it for the money, for a pornographer and is going to fake her way through the whole scene. And is about as turned on as the girls he meets every day. The better image quality you show in porn the clearer the consumer will believe or not believe in what he's watching. Will a porn buyer go and buy 3D glasses to view 3D porn? Some will, but that porn has to be 3 times better than 1D porn to make him do it. And while you spend all your time and money getting the technical part right you're in danger of losing the main ingredient of porn.
