Hi People,

I ran accross this weird site that tells you to "rate" other websites and will pay you
$ 5.00 per rated site. They tell you to make sure to cancel the trial membership and
supply them with the trial membership ID and password in order to get your $ 5.00
Isn't that against your TOS?
Those are not real sign ups, but webmaster signups to create income for them and pay
the other $ 5.00. These sign ups will never convert to recurring sign ups.

I'm a webmaster myself and hate people trying to cheat the system, since that means there
is less to go around for us honest webmasters. If this is within your TOS, please forgive me
for the intrusion.

They even have a work around for signing upo for multiple sites from the same program:
from their FAQ
Q: Why can I not sign up at more than one site per set?
A: You can actually sign-up to all of them. Each set is made up of sites owned or affiliated with the same company. Some of the sites in specific sets will give you access to all of the sites in that set with the same username and password. While this would make it easy for you to provide ASR with ratings on all of those sites, it unfortunately means ASR will not get paid by each site. This means that ASR cannot afford to pay you for each of these ratings. There is, however, a way around this. If you were, for instance, to sign up to each site using a different method of payment (i.e.. Different credit cards), you could then provide ASR with a rating and unique username & password. Some of the sites in a particular set will offer you the choice of using different billing companies, resulting in the same effect. As long as you can supply ASR with a unique username and password for each site ASR will pay you for rating all the sites listed on site list.

I got this emailed to me by one of our loyal Webmasters. we cancelled the ASR Online account with us.

I also forwared to it many of you that i know here on the board but for the rest of you, you may want to dig into this.
