Is anyone using the Blackberry Bold yet?

I have an 8830 curve and want to get the Bold - I want WiFi.

Any major bitches or complaints about it yet?

I know someone who has a Storm and a Bold. He says that he's Blackberry4Life.

He absolutely HATES the Storm, loves the Bold.

I have the bold and love it. Only complaints are the battery life sucks and the keypad isn't as easy as on the curve. I am getting use to the keypad though.

I love my BlackJack 2 from At&t. Was going to go with a blackberry, but kind of fell in love with the BlackJack!

Storm is horrible, don't get it. I hate it. My 8830 was on it's way out (USB tab broke off) so I was forced to grab a new phone - figured I'd "upgrade" at the same time.

Horrible.

The Bold though, seems great. It's pretty much a 8830 w/ a nicer screen and faster processor. Verizon supposedly is scheduled to get their version of it around May, but we'll see. This phone may or not be a world edition - I hope so - as I've read conflicting specs on it.

I basically want a replacement for my 8830 World edition, real keyboard, and faster processor. Touchscreens are horrible (I also hate the iPhone)

I love the bold too! I haven't had any of the issues people are saying they have with the battery.

as for wifi I love it that's what I wanted and waited for the bold. Seems to work very well.

Couldn't be happier

Current issues w/ dropped calls on the Bold is likely due to the network the phone is currently available for in the US ;)

Personally I don't care about wifi.. But I care about keeping Verizon (yes, they are horrible on phones, crippling shit, and pricing.. but their network is second to none), and the world edition (GSM) features. So, I gave the storm a shot. I'm very tempted to just go back to an 8830 - but I can't quite justify buying a new phone to use for only 3-4 months once the javelin/whatever the bold version for Verizon comes out..

I will say.. reading e-mails and scrolling through lists on the Storm = much better. However, replying to e-mail/texting/etc. is absolutely horrendous and makes me want to throw the thing through the window.

I have had the Bold since August, love it!! I started with old school Blackberry's, then the 8800 now the Bold. Touch screens I hate, so I wont be getting the Storm I will likely keep the Bold till they drop a new version.

The only bitch is that WIFI sucks battery, but it will do that on any device with WIFI.

Thanks for all the good answers. My 8830 is slowly crapping out, so I need something new. The Storm seems to have all kinds of problems, and the Bold seems to have problems that are network related. I think I'll pick up the Bold today and see what happens. We have a decent GSM network here, so speeds should be good. EDGE doesn't work worth a crap here, at least for me..
