Breaking into mainstream PPC, need help
Hey GFY,
I'm not really an active poster, so don't kill me for asking, but i'd like some help breaking into mainstream ppc. Right now I currently do some adult ppc. I used to do more, but over the years it got more and more annoying to deal with google when it came to adult. It was already frustrating enough dealing with the 12+ hour wait for any changes to be approved, but then QS almost killed me completely. I've been able to rebound slightly and back to making a small profit, but i'm trying to increase my revenue so I can afford rent :p I'm wondering, is mainstream PPC a way to go? Are there sites to promote similar to the micro niches in porn? And can anyone recommend any good affiliates? Also, a side question, aside from blowing random members of the forum, what's a good way to make extra cash? Are free sites / link lists still a viable option or have link list owners clamped down to a point where you can't even get listed any more? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for any answers. |

Hi vanillaice,
I have worked in mainstream PPC for nearly 6 years promoting DR and event-based micro-sites and have now joined with GotWebHost.com to provide paid search management for the adult industry as well. (I'm a backwards crossover) Email me at [email protected] or ICQ 18546111. I'd love to talk to you more about this. Best of luck to you.

If you are talking about Adsense and similar, then good luck to you... If you are looking to buy PPC traffic to make $$ with it then its possible but with a high cost of entry.
If you're really struggling to make the rent then a 2nd job will assure that you can pay it.

I would highly recommend this program for learning mainstream ppc techniques, niches, etc etc. The tools alone are worth it.

Nah, no adsense, screw that. I'm just talking regular affiliate marketing. I see these 'uber affiliates' who make thousands in profit a day, so I know money is there. I know you can make the same profit in adult, but it's just so hard to trial and error with ads taking forever to get approved. If google were quicker approving adult ads, i'd stick with what I know, but it's clear that's not their priority by any means.
