xxxblackbook, ulust, sexsearch, etc.

Does anyone have any stats or idea of how long it takes the average free join to convert to paid typically?

Most of the time it doesn't happen instantly, just trying to figure the time line when the majority of free no cc joins, turn into paid in terms of dating.

with my traffic & tests...xxxblackbook = 1-4 dAYS, ulust = a few hours, sexsearch 1 week+

xxxblackbook has converted more sales over per free overall

in general if a person hasn't converted in 2 weeks, they won't convert at all

In the dating business you have 3 types of signups

The instant signup, when they signup for the free & go ahead & put in their CC# right then, because they have a person they want to talk to, cam with etc.

The 1 day in signup....they sign up....think about it, maybe find a bitch after doing some intensive searching etc.

The 1 day to 1 week signup....they signup for a dating site, then login their email a few days later to find that a few chicks have sent them e-mails, or pictures, or videos, or a wink/flirt & they wanna get in touch with em.

People do signup 2 weeks or 2 months later of course....but we are talking about 1-3% of all signups fitting into this category.

95-99% of all signups occur within the first 2 weeks of free signup.

Sure does make it kind of difficult to determine your ROI,

guess I'm going to have to be patient.. which is a virtue I lack.

I've been doing up front cc joins with webcams for so long, this is relatively new to me.

My last home had closed there cam program with zero notice (i was doing a couple hundred sales weekly), so after that happened I went down the list of EVERY damn cam program out there and spent a nice penny on some traffic tests.. all to find that dating is a much more viable option for me in terms of my traffic and payout.

Wish I would have realized this earlier, but luckily I sell brand x so I can switch programs with relative ease.

Just got to keep reminding myself to be patient and wait for the feedback to come.

Any suggestions on how to properly gauge your ROI , or methods/systems you guys do to make sure your in the green and it's paying off?

It's also extremely nice just having to secure the free join and that's it,

and let the members area/e-mails convert them.

I did a little test run with 13k at sexsearch, got 2 paid joins the next day.. so I did another little 25k test run today and i'm waiting for the results.

Strange to see the variances in the free joins with my 3 little test:

13k - 6 free joins, 13k - 13 free joins, 13k - 6 free joins.

So I assume anything outside of US traffic is pretty much useless?

But I would still like to know how you guys are gauging your ROI,

and how you know if streams are working when you have to wait so long for the results.

I'm no dummy with tracking, it's just such a chunk of time to wait especially when your dealing with large volumes of traffic.. like how do you know if you set a campaign and leave it cranking whether or not it's driving you in the green or red.

what I'm looking to find out.. is what is the best way to keep tabs on your ROI to ensure your turning a profit.. due to the problem of not getting all the feedback at say a 2 week mark. Do you guys have a certain mark or date you set for each campaign to let it mature and then calculate after that?

More importantly,

for - blackbook, ulust, sexsearch, fling .. is there an average and consistent free signup to paid join conversion rate that you have experienced?

I know it depends on how you filter your traffic in terms of unique hits to free joins, but it stays pretty consistent.. with filtered I get 1 free join for every 3 uniques 1:3,

but what I want to know is that is there any kind of consistent free join to paid join ratio for these programs that you guys get.. or does it fluctuate too much to determine?

I'm aware that all these questions are totally newbie questions.. but I am pretty green when it comes to the dating game.. I'm just now trying to get out of webcams from lack of performance (although im still doing a few hundred weekly volume) to the overall join process getting more difficult and a real lack of user-friendly joins anyway.

One thing I do have is traffic, good designers, and innovative ideas. I suck at SEO or anything of the sort and I guess you could say I don't do things properly and I'm probably wasting a lot of resources in the process. I know I could monetize my traffic better and get another 15% out of it easy so I am developing a tube dump site unfortunately.. legal one though.

Sorry for the irrelevant rant, just figure I would clarify myself a bit so you know the questions do actually have some pertinence.

Canada, USA, UK, Australia are top 4 countries and considered tier1
Other european countries would be considered tier2
The rest are mostly crap.

Personally, I think you're better off trying to find out how many uniques it takes to get a free join, and how many free joins it takes, on average, to convert to a paid join. With enough traffic, over enough time, it should be reasonably consistent.

In my experience, pr0 is right. 95% of your joins are gonna come either in the instant-1 week range. That being said, I have programs where I've stopped sending traffic that still get 4-5 sales a week from free joins that have converted a year later. It's strange, but it does happen.
