Has anyone tried the TetherBerry app yet? I bought it and now I can connect my laptop through my BB to the net without Verizon's tethering fees.

One time I let the phone run completely out of battery and it had to charge for 2 hours before the radio would work again.

I'm also on my 2nd Storm already, screen stopped working on the first one (and it wasn't even during one of the multiple drops on bar floors).

Screen stalls all the time... great clarity, but takes crappy pictures.

I have an old school 7520. Never figured out messaging on the thing but for email it is great. Every time I tried to message with someone it sends a message telling them to download some app. ugh.

I have the storm and do not recommended it to anyone.. if anything get a blackberry bold instead. Since I got the phone... the screen lags, the click-bs-technology will eventually give me carpal tunnel, the pictures are crappy half of the time AND their browser suck big cock.

Almost bought the Storm until reading negative reviews, many of which pointed out the same problems you have.

Recently heard that Verizon has endured countless customers returning their Storms. That might explain why Verizon is now offering "free" phones with the purchase of a Storm.

the one thing I hate about blackberry is that they MAKE you have a data plan cause it is a blackberry. I have a family plan on my account and 2 blackberrys. My brother is in Iraq and not needing his phone so i wanted to cancel all the extra stuff he isn't using till he is back but they wont let me. I have to transfer his phone coverage to a completely different phone. My bill is coming out to over $300 a month, it's crazy. Just wanted to save some costs till he gets back.

Love my Blackberry, couldn't live without BB messenger.

If your bro is in Iraq just tell them that and suspend or even cancel the line. When I had a US phone if you were military they'd let you outta any contract. Not sure if it's the same now but worth exploring.

I already upgraded the software and sadly it didn't do much. It's an ok phone and not really worth what they're selling it for.. But fuck I totally fell for the hype and marketing.

what version of the OS are you using? I am upgrading to 114 right now. ... 109 was a great release, zero problems

is anything really worth what its being sold for... look at 3/4 of the sites on the net and a really good example.

Does any of you guys have any experience with 2 way sync with imap mail boxes. I read that with BIS ( the cheap BES ) there is a lack of good 2 way sync. So all the mail you mark as read on your laptop will appear as unread on BB.
With the gmail app this is supposed not to happen and with additional LogicMail application this should also be solved. The built in BB mail client gives this problems I read. I have no BB myself so before buying was I was looking around on the net and read a lot about this problem.
Any one experience with this ?
