epassporte question. Blocked card (3 times wrong pin)

What do I have to do to get my card working again after typing in the wrong pin a few times at the ATM?
I was in a hurry and forgot that I have a different pin number on this card than on some others.

change pin... if you still have that card... if not ask bank to back your card...

Have you checked your message center in your account?

I would send an email to epassporte. I got an issue at the moment and havent had any problem getting prompt support.

If the machine ate the card I think he is out of luck. I think the data is wiped off the magnetic strip when bank machines seize cards.

I changed the pin, but I'm still waiting for it to be approved or something. I have the card. No messages in the message center

You should get the message within 5-10 minutes after you change the PIN.
If you haven't received the message please send me your UserID to [email protected] then I will look into it.

If a ATM eats the card what usually happens is that the bank will cut up the card and send it to us. This is because the ATM owner can not see why the card was eaten.

If your card is eaten by the ATM contact the owner of the ATM and ask them if they will return it to you if they receive a fax from us stating its OK to return the card. If they will get a fax number and contact me and we will do what we can to assist.

I had mine come up as stolen once after using it in a fast food restaurant. I actually had to call and verify who I was for them to reactivate it. Be sure this is not the case...

I didn't just make that up. I had this happen to me in London actually. Entered the pin wrong too many times and the ATM took the card. I called the company that owned the ATM and they told me that I must get a replacement card because their machines wipe the data off any cards that are seized by the machine as a security precaution.

it's all good now. The pin change did the trick. After hearing some horror stories in the past, I was a bit scared that the account could get locked.
