![]() I got my bill in the mail from Comcast and its now over $240 a month for TV and Internet. I called yesterday and I was on a bunch of promos and when they ended the price went up.
So I called Verizon and for everything I have now is $117 with tax and includes this new cool multi-room DVR (so I can record a show on one tv and watch in another room). The best Comcast can do is offer me a package with similar stuff (minus the cool DVR) for about $160 a month. Comcast claims that the picture quality of Verizon is horrible and no where near as good as Comcast, but I'm sure thats just a lie. Anyone have any experience with Verizon FiOS TV and Internet?

I know that Comcast throttles users like crazy so I'd be gone from them given the chance. Verizon's FIOS is supposed to be much faster but I'd do some searches and see if they also throttle before making the swap.

Hi Boss,
We have had verizon fios in the office for almost 1 year now. We have the 20/20 plan and pay about 70.00 per month... Fios is so damm stable - on speed tests we are always right around our 20/20 - there is no bandwith limits like comcast has now, etc. We love it ![]() To read some forums on verizon fios net and tv go here and click on forums and you will see the right ones. www.dslreports.com Enjoy.
