HostM|)S - what i gotta do?
Hi guys,
I got serious problem with these host. I bought annual hosting plan: Hosting Package: No Limit Web Hosting Domain: icemov.com First Payment Amount: $71.40 USD Recurring Amount: $71.40 USD Billing Cycle: Annually Next Due Date: 13/12/2009 Until the last week it was all right, i ate over 11-12 Gb per month, it was no problem. At the end of previous week they blocked my site, i used to try give them a call but useless, all their phone numbers were out of work and ticket stays unanswered till Monday. I didn't get any notice on email of phone, nothing. On Monday i got reply: Your account has been suspended due to too many apache resource utilization generated from your web site. My reply: You've killed my site. I want you to pay my losses. And answer: you do not qualify for a refund as you violated the Terms of service. -- Anita Mano Customer Care That's ridiculous. But what i gotta do now? I won't work anymore with such a "cuties" but i wanna get my money back 'cause its more than half a year yet. At least some part of them. Thank you all for your thoughts. Wbr, Dmi

My thoughts are as follows:
1)You have just learned the meaning of the phrase, "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is". What (at least most of) these bottom basement budget hosts offer is impossible to attain - and when you utilize the resources that would enable you to reach your limits, they pull this crap... 2)What they did sucks. They should have provided an upgrade option or offered a pro-rated refund. BUT this probably IS in their terms, and even if it isn't, nobody in their right mind will sue for 40 dollars. 3)Find a real host. |
