These protests were not intended to be "anti-Obama." It only seems that way now because that is how the media has portrayed it and of course a bunch of nutjobs who do actually hate Obama and who don't even know what's going on had to show up to the protests.

The people who really understand the purpose of these protests were protesting the path our federal goverment has been on for decades now, it doesn't even really have anything to do with Obama.

The bailouts hadn't happened yet. The bailouts just happened recently, and they are serious contributors to the problems that our country and currency face. Something to note: The federal government was created by the states to SUPPORT the states, not CONTROL the states.

The vast majority did not understand anything other than the fact Fox News told them to go. I doubt if 2% of them even know what the Federal Reserve is, much less understand the complexities of fractional banking, money supply, Keynaisian economics, or anything requiring some thought.
