Why are you using an antivirus?
They're made for morons that don't even know how to turn on a computer.. how can you call yourself a "webmaster" if you can't even prevent yourself from getting a virus?
And the antivirus programs don't always stop you from getting one they might just tell you you just got one, which is pretty pointless. Anyone who works via a computer and the internet should know when something is suspicious and be able to tell when they've just gotten infected.  |

I'm always browsing various sites, downloading movies, music, etc.. been doing this for years without an antivirus. Have I gotten a virus before? Sure, but I was aware I was being infected AS IT WAS HAPPENING and had it removed within the hour hijackthis and/or searching Google for a solution.
I honestly don't understand how someone who's job is on the internet would need an antivirus.. which is why I made this thread. Quote:

If I posted a link to a virus and said it was a virus.. I wonder how many would still click it? Probably the people using an antivirus rofl.

Nod32 Antivirus is an awarded antivirus program and a good choice for anyone being online alot. If you can't afford a commercial one there's plenty of free ones. |
