Anyone know a good Vonage equivalent based out of Canada?

vonage is in canada as well.

but most cable providers have digital phone, like cogeco, rogers, shaw, but not as many options as vonage like the different phone numbers in area codes.

I've used a bunch of VOIP services. The best of the bunch is still my MagicJack.

Saw that but the service appears to be still based out of US..

It's not that big of a difference. Only $2 on the "basic" plan.

You gotta compare the same plans.
Vonage.com Unlimited: $24.99/mn
Vonage.ca Unlimited: $39.99/mn

$15/mn difference is kinda hefty for the same service.

i use packet8, dunno if it works in canada, but i got a usa number in costa rica.. keeps mom happy back home. r0fl

I miss Vonage.

They provide a good service for that low price.

Can't use Vonage with satellites or cellular USB modems
