Maybe a few people here or there over the years had beef with him, I don't know, don't recall anything specific, so pardon me if I go ahead and give the guy the benefit of the doubt until he and bdjuf have a chance to work things out.

If I'm wrong, fine, but I've never percieved TF to be the type to risk his name and entire business rep over any amount of money, certainly not $1700. That barely buys you a decent laptop these days, what would be the point?

Agreed, he's certainly been guilty of some questionable judgment and I know some felt cheated when he closed his traffic program suddenly, but I don't recall anyone calling him a scammer. Who knows though, times are tough for some and he could have been using the transfer to float him some funds for a few days until he had enough to pay bdjuf back.

Turboface can go to jail for this, and it's easy to prove. Check fraud is a major felony, he opened a checking account somewhere in order to trick paypal. Call your credit card/debit card company, then file an IC3 complaint and then call his local authorities. He needs to learn a lesson, don't let this go.

Also, indicate he has a history of scamming other people. The FBI will come down on him harder.
