Anyone Else Use Twitter As A Real Time Search Engine?
search for "gmail down" and yep it's not only me.
say what you want about the stupid shit on there - for real time stuff it's better than google. thus the point of the caffeine update is twitter - not bing. |

I do. It's also useful it for domain/blog/search term trends analysis and forecasting purposes. With the recent GEO-specific change to its API, it's even useful for local search/local trends.
