Before we "officially" launch on Monday, we wanted to give GFY a first look at our new affiliate program at www.2257Safe.com. We would appreciate some feedback as well.

You can now make money off 2257. Sounds crazy but we have set up 50% lifetime rev share program. You can earn up $74.99 per month off a single signup. We have now monetized a law that has been a bain for this industry. We have 5 tiers of service; (a) $9.99; (b) $29.99; (c) $49.99; (d) $99.99 and (e) $149.99 depending on the client's content storage needs.

We anticipate great retention rates since 2257 requires maintaining your records for 7 years after a primary or secondary producer ceases doing business.

instead of giving 50 percent to affiliates. Why not just lower the prices to make it more appealing?

You have and interesting business concept, BUT if you are going to hold yourself up as an expert in the maintenance requirements of 2257 I would strongly recomend that before you make statements about what the laws are that you make sure you know what the law actually is.

Specifically:

"If the organization is dissolved, the person who was responsible for maintaining the records, as described in §75.6(b), shall continue to maintain the records for a period of five years after dissolution."

Not the affiliate program. We launched www.2257Safe.com a month ago though.

We run on PCI-DSS compliant servers which are expensive. However we do offer a Coupon Option for companies which allows them to pass on a 50% savings to their clients/affiliates. Or they can choose the affiliate rev share option.
