here are some questions about flv's:

1) 15 seconds of movie gives me a 2 mb flv file.. widest side resolution of 640, but 420 or something still is 2mb for 15 seconds. What are the best conversion settings for the smallest file size and still an acceptable quality?

2) what software do you use to convert movie files to flv files, also where you have control over the above mentioned settings? which also supports flv to flv if i want to make an flv a smaller size.

3) what movie player you use on your site? Ive got a customized JW player, but somehow it sometimes plays and it sometimes gives an error. Really weird and unusable. Plus that you cant scroll to the middle if the movie hasnt been loaded yet, i want this feauture too.

1) check frame rate.

3) jw works fine. install it again..

i use boilsoft video splitter to split video files from members areas to whatever amount of time frame 1-3 mins usally.

then i use adobe cs4 media encoder to make it into .flv format
