What type of theme are you looking for?

To be honest I find them all sorts of places, not real central location.

A small thread hi-jack: would you happen to know of one with a good traditional newspaper/magazine kind of style?

Basically, a style somewhat like newyorker.com, tnr.com, thenation.com, etc. Suitable for a serious political blog with multiple authors.

I am going to relaunch an old blog. It currently has old version of WP and relatively confident the theme won't work any more.

To be honest, I haven't started a new blog myself in 5 years, so kind of looking around to see if I can figure out what kind of options it "must" have. Layout would be pretty basic as it would have a graphic header then primarily text for the content.

It won't be a blog that looks like a TGP.

I have them both Pre Made and Custom. Only a few pre mades as I prefer to do only custom work.

The closest thing I've seen so far are the Dispatch child theme of Mimbo Pro, as well as some of the designs by Woothemes, but none of them seem to fully fit the bill.

If you don't mind paying, woothemes.com has a few great looking new themes. I'm sure you can find others very similar and cheaper, but woothemes does really well with their themes. Well coded, well designed.
