Simple way to get chinese traffic off your tgp - GoFuckYourself.com

I found a quick & easy method of getting chinese traffic out of my tgp network that is free & easy to implement.

It only redirects users who have their browsers set to chinese language, so it's not 100% effective but it should catch the majority of them.

Place the following code in your html before the </head>

if (language.indexOf('zh') > -1 || language.indexOf('zh-cn') > -1 || language.indexOf('zh-hk') > -1 || language.indexOf('zh-mo') > -1 || language.indexOf('zh-tw') > -1 || language.indexOf('zh-sg') > -1)
document.location.href = 'http://www.yoursiteurl.com/chinesepage.htm';
</script>

Change the url to whatever page you want to send them to.
Also change the "hahahaha" in line two to a double equal sign, no space in between. I guess the board script doesn't display that normally.

I've used Jade Bucks as a sponsor on my site since they have language appropriate sites & billing that works for that region.

This will redirect the chinese traffic off of your tgp so that your trade script will not count clicks (since there will be none) from the chinese traffic. So sites sending you lots of this traffic will be penalized by your trade script, which will in turn build better trades with sites that are sending you better quality traffic.

I wouldn't be surprised if people building their sites up with chinese traffic try to flame this thread, however keep in mind that as far as your income is concerned, chinese traffic is indistinguishable from hitbot traffic. They both only cost you money and offer you nothing in return (unless you use Jade Bucks

)

I have no idea what the conversions are like, I've just set this up today.

My main concern was to not count chinese traffic in the stats. I don't want to exchange good traffic for chinese traffic in return, this will reduce that. The prod from sites sending lots of chinese traffic will be very poor so the trade script won't return to those trades as much. And my site won't send any out to trades at all.

Any extra money I get from the jadebucks sponsor is just a bonus, there may be better sponsors out there, I have no idea, this was the first I found.

because it's like hitbot traffic, it doesn't generate sales - this method allows the trade scripts to penalize sites who send a disproportionate amount of it.

btw I've been seeing better results so far with passwordbyphone than I did with jadebucks. supposedly if your chinese traffic comes from some of the major citites, jadebucks might do ok, but if it comes from mainland china (as most does) they have a hard time paying through jadebucks.

that's the idea... just replace the http://www.yoursiteurl.com/chinesepage.htm with whatever url you want to send the traffic to. you could make a banner page with links to different sponsors, or just forward it to a sponsor page etc.

Thats for the code and the info. I signuped with passwordbyphone as jadebucks, looked good, but was not working properly. One of my sites has gotten like 3500 hits from China in the last few months.. While not alot might as well start redirecting them now and try earning a few bucks with it.

Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan are not the same as mainland China. The former are a good source of sales, the latter just raw traffic numbers.
