The best amp I have ever used Line 6 Flextone II XL stereo speakers 100 amps I regret the day i sold it for a b52 half stack. Anyways ive tried line 6 since and they all suck compared to that amp. I would give anything to own it and the foot board again but i cant find it anywhere only the single speaker one.

Line 6 stuff is ok. I have one of their pod's with footboard but don't use it much. I don't like the loss in tone from their stuff.

I use to play in a band and had a rack of gear... but now I only use a few items.

Marshall JCM DSL 2000 50 watt head

4x12 Marshall cab

Morley wah pedal

Morley volume pedal

Boss delay pedal

Boss overdrive pedal

If you are looking for a fantastic amp, I would check out the Peavey Valveking 212. Best sounding amp for the money out right now.

I love the Marshall but even being a 50 watt head I can't crank it up. I have played the Valveking and love it. It will be my next purchase. Small enough to be a great practice amp and still big enough to play small clubs.

Id stay away from any new pevey it sucks my girl got me it for christmas as i got back into playing guitar and its one of there newer models and i cry it sucks so bad.

There is a difference between the lame pedals line 6 came out with and the amps with the built in affects big difference. If ur going to spend the money then get a mesa boggie rectifier, since u cant find the line 6 amp i am talking about anymore ill upload a file example of a recording i did with the amp and u will see for a sub par recording the sound is just killer.

They are junk.... I have owned Digitech multi units and hated the presets. Buy a few good pedals and mess with the settings on a quality amp and you can get a much better sound.

If all you want to do is sound like everyone else, buy a Line 6 pod off ebay for 1/6 of the cost of the amp you are talking about. If you want a sound that melts butter... stay away from Line 6 as you will get bored of the generic sound it puts out. Check out the Peavy Valveking 212 and then respond in this thread.

Don't get me wrong... Line 6 puts out decent stuff but it's not something you will be happy with 2 months down the road.

I use to be a gear whore and tried everything. I owned the Digitech multi unit for about a week before I sold it. I learned if something is trying to do too much for a cheap cost, then it's not doing any one thing great.

What Peavy unit are you talking about? I have played the Valveking against other amps and nothing can touch it for the money. I suggest the 212 as it is perfect for most applications. The 112 doesn't have the guts to put out a quality tone.

i got the 75 watt single speaker vypre and it sucks. all that it is is load, the tone sounds like shit quite and if u go to load its to damn low and if u kill the lows when its load all u get is fucking highs, biggest piece of shit ever, lucky i still have an os-2 pedal 2 get some kind of decent overdrive sound, and the effects wash away the sound, i swear worst amp i have ever tried. Id like a fender frontman over this shit.

I must add....

People think they need a high watt head but they don't realize they have to crank it up to get the tone out of the amp.

When I bought my Marshall DSL 2000 I could have bought the 100 watt but I learned that I could get more of the real tone by having the 50 watt and being able to turn it up more. Even with the 50 watt I'm running a Marshall power brake to help control the volume yet keep the tone.

Bigger is not always better... unless you are playing in a huge area, you don't need a 100 watt head.

I agree that amp sucks. I'm not a fan of Peavy but the Valveking blew me away. I'm a Marshall guy at heart but nothing Marshall puts out right now can hold a candle to the Valveking 212 for the money.

What do you mean? If you are talking about the valveking head... forget about it. Get the 2x12 combo in the pic above and you will love it.

If you don't.... I will buy it off you. The only reason I have not bought one yet is I'm not playing as much anymore. But guitar is something I will never stray far from as a hobby.
